A better layout, new services throughout and a finish you notice every day. Planned, managed and built by one team.

Hackney houses often keep their original shutters, panelled doors and stone stairs, alongside decades of patched services that need replacing.
Georgian and Victorian houses in Hackney need specialist care: lime plaster, sash windows, original joinery and cornices repaired, with modern heating, lighting and services hidden behind them.
Almost any change to a listed house needs listed building consent, including internal walls, fireplaces and joinery. Unlisted houses in conservation areas mainly need permission for external changes. Applications go to the London Borough of Hackney. We handle them for you.
We walk the house with you and record what should be kept, repaired or replaced.
A new layout, a clear specification and a schedule of works you can follow.
Planning, listed building consent where needed, building control and party walls.
One team renovates it and hands it back finished.
Yes. We prepare the consent drawings and heritage information, agree the approach with the conservation officer, and use trades who regularly repair lime plaster, sash windows and Georgian joinery.
Sometimes, for smaller or phased work. For a full renovation most clients move out, which is safer and usually quicker. We will advise at the first visit.
Internal work on an unlisted house rarely needs it. Listed houses need listed building consent for almost any change, and in a conservation area new windows, roofs and front elevations often need permission.
For a whole-house renovation it is usually better to move out. Work to a single floor, or work in phases, can be planned around you staying in.

We take a limited number of houses each year. A director reviews every enquiry.
